Senior .NET Software Engineer

Join the Markets Post-Trade Technology tribe, which supports all markets through post-trade activities, delivering efficient and reliable back-office IT solutions. You will join, as a main cloud driver, a team of 9 software engineers, business analyst & product owner, based across 3 countries, working on modernizing Custody area, while still delivering flexible solutions. Our cloud technology stack: .NET C#, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Azure DevOps, Github Actions, AWS, Openshift. Our legacy technology stack : Cobol, PL/1, DB2 Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (our team is currently using a hybrid working model, where we work at least 3 days a week in the office.). You will: Drive modernisation initiatives to upgrade Custody domain, including revising architectures, consolidating solutions, and leveraging newer .NET versions to build scalable and future-ready systems Drive innovation by helping design and implement solutions to reduce tight coupling between projects, creating a more flexible and maintainable architecture that supports seamless upgrades in the future Work with legacy system maintainers to plan and upgrade existing systems to modern technological stack Design and develop modern applications while adhering to coding and testing standards Collaborate closely with architects, software engineers, and business analysts Work together to enhance the development, deployment, and architecture of our applications Share responsibility for supporting and maintaining our systems in production About you: Minimum 6 years of experience as a C# developer or in another programming language Expierence in driving architecture and modernization efforts Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including automating build, test, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps (with Azure Pipelines and YAML) and GitHub Actions Knowledge of general software modelling and engineering disciplines and principles Knowledge of object-oriented design principles Ability to work in a team and independently Advanced English skills Would be beneficial: Knowledge of post-trade area, custody domain and/or securities domain Experience with mainframe-to-cloud modernization practices We offer: Monthly salary range from 4960 to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
