A leading software company in the construction technology and infrastructure sector is expanding its Innovation Team in Budapest. We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to develop advanced computer vision solutions that tackle real-world challenges in construction and infrastructure. As a Machine Learning Engineer Computer Vision, you will create and implement cutting-edge computer vision models that convert visual and spatial data into actionable insights. Your focus will be on building robust AI systems capable of analyzing images, documents, and spatial datasets used in construction and infrastructure workflows. Working within the Innovation Team, you will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product teams to uncover opportunities where computer vision can drive meaningful innovation. You will also be responsible for transforming experimental models into scalable, production-ready solutions for integration into enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, train, and evaluate computer vision models for tasks such as detection, segmentation, classification, and image understanding. Utilize pre-trained models and optimize deep learning architectures for real-world applications. Apply generative image models, including diffusion-based methods, to enhance visual data processing. Convert research prototypes into robust and scalable production systems. Prepare and curate datasets, conduct benchmarking, and assess model performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision capabilities into products and services. Contribute to innovation initiatives addressing challenges such as document vectorization and point cloud data processing. Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Strong expertise in computer vision and deep learning. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow and tools like OpenCV. Experience with CNN architectures and generative models, including diffusion-based techniques. Knowledge of model optimization, evaluation metrics, and MLOps practices. Ability to deploy experimental models as reliable, production-ready solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
