Job requirements What youll do Build and improve the backend of our core software, shaping how engineers work tomorrow Contribute to the backend of our core product with a focus on high-quality, maintainable code Collaborate in a cross-functional feature team (Product, Frontend, Customer Success) Deliver features and improvements aligned with strategic company goals Work on diverse backend challengesfrom implementation and refactoring to performance and reliability Learn from and contribute to a knowledge-sharing engineering culture, driven by curiosity and high standards What were looking for 24+ years of backend development experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring, or similar Good knowledge of relational databases and fundamentals of backend system design Practical experience with the Spring ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot) Interest in modern software architecture and the JVM ecosystem A structured, analytical mindset and a pragmatic, hands-on attitude Proficiency in English for clear collaboration in an international team What we offer A high-impact role in a product-driven company thats scaling fast Flat hierarchies and room to shape the product and engineering culture Hybrid work setup with flexible home office options Team lunches, coffee/snacks, fun team eventsand optional German language classes Extra vacation days: your birthday, Christmas, Easter, and (in Austria) all bridge days (Fenstertage) A diverse, international team of about 60 experts from software, math, and different industries Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.
